For the 12th consecutive year, one of the emblematic buildings on the Danube canal in Vienna, known as the Ringturm, will become a huge art installation.

On May 8th, in the Presidency of the Republic of Bulgaria forty-five youths who achieved the gold and silver level of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award were accorded.

On the 11th of April, at the Russian Cultural and Information Center in Sofia, the first Bulgarian cosmonaut Georgi Ivanov was congratulated for the 40th anniversary of his space flight by hundreds of guests.

On March 6th, the extraordinary erudite and linguist, doctor of philological sciences, professor of Korean, Mongolian and Tibetan literature and director of the Centre of Eastern Languages and Cultures at Sofia University "St. Climent Ohridski", Alexander Fedotov, would have turned 63.

On February 1, in the city of Spa, Belgium, was opened an exhibition of two talented Bulgarian artists - Viara Pancheva and Sonia Ruskov.

The National Museum of Natural History and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Bulgaria presented the photography exhibition "An Expedition in Azerbaijan: Following the Caucasian Leopard" on February 11th.
