This is how is called the photo exhibition of attorney Anna Yordanova, showing the incredible beauty of the Kingdom of Morocco, which opening was on February 8th at Signa Art Gallery at the Grand Hotel in Plovdiv.

The cultural event was under the high patronage of H. E. Mrs. Zakia El Midaoui, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco in Bulgaria. Among the guests were Mr. Yavor Notev, Vice-President of the Bulgarian National Assembly, the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Morocco in Plovdiv - eng. Svetoslav Glossov, the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Plovdiv - Hussein Ergani, Malika El Haddad, Advisor to the Moroccan Embassy, ​​prominent lawyers, including: the District Prosecutor Rumen Popov, the judge to the Court of Appeal Hristo Kracholov, the Deputy Head of the Investigation Department Galia Radeva and her husband attorney-at-law Rad Radev, attorney-at-law Bozhikova, as well as dozens of representatives of Plovdiv’s society.

Anna Yordanova is a passionate traveler and also a passionate photographer. The photographs shown in the exhibition - captured moments from Morocco, impress with their colours. Beautiful landscapes line up in front of the eyes of the audience - from the Atlas Mountains, the Berber villages, the Imperial cities of Marrakesh and Fes, as well as from Essaouira and Chefchaouen. Her great love for the country and the people, intertwined with a fine aesthetic feeling radiate from them. The photographer herself admitted during the opening: "Morocco is a wonderful country with great people." Anna Yordanova has been there four times, visiting different cities and places. And she has been delighted with what she has seen. She wished to all those who have not yet been to Morocco to have the chance to go and see this "Fabulous country between the ocean and the Sahara desert".

E. Mrs. Zakia El Midaoui, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco to Bulgaria, greeted those present and the photographer: "This exhibition features, through these beautiful photos, an African and Arab country full of vigor, vitality, and hope. The artistic frames displayed here reflect also the friendly feeling of Bulgarian people towards the Moroccan people.

That is why I would like to take this opportunity to express my deep and sincere thanks to you Mrs. Anna Jordanova for your interest towards my country, the Kingdom of Morocco, that has fascinated travelers around the world for Centuries.

On behalf of the Moroccan Embassy in Sofia and the Honorary Consulate in Plovdiv, let me extend my warm and sincere welcome to all of you for attending this photo exhibition opening ceremony, which marks the 74th anniversary of the presentation of the independence Manifest on the 11th January 1944, celebrated by the Moroccan people every year. This celebration symbolizes also the triumph of the will of the Throne and the Moroccan people in the national fight for freedom, independence and unity."

Thoughts of the author and the exhibition were also shared by the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Morocco in Plovdiv - eng. Svetoslav Glossov, the art historian and Chairman of the Bulgarian-Moroccan Association - Prof. Chavdar Popov, attorney Mrs Emilia Nedeva from the Plovdiv’s Bar Association.

The evening continued with a fashion show during which students from the National High School of Performing Arts in Plovdiv showed the magnificence of the traditional Moroccan caftans, provided by the Embassy specifically for the occasion.

The public also enjoyed Moroccan music and the incredible Moroccan sweets and cookies.
