The 13th International Competition for young singers of popular songs took place from 25 to 27 September in the Musical Theater "Konstantin Kisimov" in the city of Veliko Tarnovo. This year's Grand Prix winner is the representative of Italy - Nicoletta Scarpinella .

But dozens of awards were grabbed by young talents from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Malta, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Serbia, Hungary, and of course, Bulgaria.
Patron of the 13th edition was the Mayor of Veliko Tarnovo - Eng. Daniel Panov. This year, the young talents were judged by a prestigious international jury chaired by Silvia Katsarova. Hristo Paskalev - Pascal is the doyen who has been part of the jury all those thirteen years. In the municipality he is already called the "legend" of "Silver Yantra". Along with them, the young talents were judged by Rocco Palazzo – Italy, Catalin Dascalu– Romania, Antonia Markova.
Special guest of the competition was the winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014  - Vincenzo Cantiello from Italy. This was the first visit of the young Neapolitan in Bulgaria and in Veliko Tarnovo, but in November he will be in Sofia for the Junior Eurovision 2015. Guest artist was Gabriela Yordanova, who will present our country in the prestigious competition this year.
"Silver Yantra" is an established competition of young singers of popular songs in Bulgaria and abroad. Its aim is the establishment of international creative contacts and promotion of a taste for quality Bulgarian and world popular songs among the young talents. Artists aged from 5 to 25 years take part in it divided into four age groups. Each of them presents 2 songs: one in their native language, the other - in a language of their choice.
Here is what the director and producer of the competition Mrs. Rumiana Nacheva told us: "Silver Yantra" is now a teenager - 13 years old, but its laureates bravely win prestigious competitions and music formats in their countries and abroad - "Eurovision" ,"Slavonic Bazaar", "New Wave", "Champions League", "Misic Idol" and much more ... This year “Silver Yantra” was presented at the "Slavonic Bazaar" 2015 and was invited to become a member of WAF – The World Organization of the Festivals. 32 festivals from Europe, Asia, North and South America participate in it.

4. The Grand Prix "Silver Yantra" - a trophy and a cash prize of € 1,000, provided by the icecream factory "DENI", Veliko Tarnovo, was won by the Italian Nicoletta Scarpinella.
5, 6, 7 and 8. The guests of the competition had the chance to enjoy the audio-visual show "Sound and Light" at Tsarevets, to walk around Arbanassi and the old town, to participate in the evening of friendship, but undoubtedly the culmination was the Gala concert of the laureates.
