The 13th edition of the International Short Film Festival In the Palace, for the first time, took place in the capital from the 8th till the 13th of December.

The six days of the festival were full of intriguing film screenings, workshops and lectures that were held in the National Palace of Culture in Sofia.

The festival was hosted and organized by eighty volunteers from all around Europe. On the closing gala the best films were awarded by significant international juries.  

The winners were “Solo Sex”(2014, Belgium) - for Best Fiction; “The Beast” (2015, Croatia) - for Special Mention in Fiction; “Patarei Prison” (2015, Estonia) - for Best Experimental Movie; “Daewit” (2014, Germany) - for Best Animation; “Invisible” (2014, Poland) - for Best Documentary; “Parking”(2014, Bulgaria) - for National Competition; “Grumpy Does Repairs” (2015, Bulgaria) - for Special Mention; “Auf Wiedersehen” (2015, Bulgaria) - for Special Mention. Best pitching projects were “The Hunter’s Brothers” (Romania) and “The First Book of The Aeronaut” (Bulgaria).
