On the 12th of February, an incredible exhibition of the creators of the Groupe de Sèvres was opened at the nOva art space gallery on 3 Saborna Street . Who are they?

After separate individual careers and exhibitions around the world - Amor, Jean-Pierre Duriez and Guillaume de Baudus, three painters from Sèvres, decide to create their own Groupe de Sèvres. It aims to distribute the paintings of each one of them during a joint European tour. The artists are different in style and technique, but their encounters and experience generate a creative dynamics, thanks to which they can offer a complete artistic and cultural project to various famous galleries on our continent. Guillaume de Baudus, who initiated the establishment of the association, also kicked off the tour, proposing the first city to introduce themselves to be Sofia. It will be followed by Moscow, Milan, Berlin ...

The painting and sculpture exhibition of the Groupe de Sèvres, organized with the assistance of the French Institute in Bulgaria, was opened in the newest art space of the capital - nOva art space, personally by H. E. Ms. Florence Robine, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Bulgaria. The artists were presented by the gallerist Vanya Atanasova. Two of them were present - Guillaume de Baudus and Jean-Pierre Duriez, who shared their experiences and ideas for future projects. Of course, they will maintain a privileged relationship with Sofia, the first city to host their exhibition, offering a variety of artistic activities and collaboration.

At each of its exhibitions, the Groupe de Sèvres will invite one well-known artist whose individual sensitivity will be integrated with that of the group and will complement it in various fields - sculpture, ceramics and more. An extremely interesting sculptor from Naples, Claudio Cuomo, was invited to the exhibition in Sofia and presented 12 of his works. The artists intend to invite a Bulgarian artist to a future one as well.
