Cultural events
For the 67th time India commemorated the Day of the Republic (1950). On this occasion, on the 26th of January, the country's embassy here, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and the Indology Foundation "East - West" opened the photographic exhibition "Religions in India" in Sofia.
From the 30th of November to the 13th of December 2015 for the second time the Days of Morocco in Bulgaria were held.
On the 16th of November, the Austrian Embassy in Sofia invited its friends in the Tea House, 11 D. Benkovski Str, for the presentation of the play "The Island of the Pelicans".
The embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium, together with the National Library "St. Cyril and St. Methodius " presented an exhibition dedicated to the independence of the media wich opened on September 7. They called it "Freedom of speech".
They were presented in the exhibition organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Bulgaria and the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies with the Ethnographic Museum - BAS. From the 25th of August to the 5th of September the visitors of the museum could enjoy the unique works of Ukrainian masters of embroidery.

The launching ceremony of the Bulgarian translation of Samira NEGROUCHE’s poetry book “Monologues du jasmin“ (“Jasmine Monologues”) took place on June 4, 2015 at the Sofia Press Gallery. The event was organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Algeria to Bulgaria.
