In the midst of the global pandemic of COVID-19, the deepening of trade relations between Indonesia and Bulgaria was realized through virtual interaction during the Trae Expo Indonesia (TEI 2020) on November 10-11, 2020.
The Embassy of Indonesia in Sofia noted the partnership between Mustika Ratu Indonesia and IDEA Group Bulgaria, which was attended by a limited number of participants both virtually and in person, with strict application of health protocols.
The Embassy of Indonesia in Sofia assisted in the signing of the online Partnership Agreement between IDEA Group and Mustika Ratu, one of the national companies involved in the production of jamu (Indonesian natural medicine), cosmetics and beauty care products.
At the same time, the gloves produced by Stargloves Indonesia took a step towards entering the Bulgarian market. During the Expo, samples of Indonesian nitrile gloves arrived in Bulgaria for an in-depth inspection from a Bulgarian company.
"Indonesian products deserve to be on the European market and especially in Bulgaria" said Bulgarian businessman Ilian Dimitrov. Dimitrov stated that the promotion of Indonesian products in Europe should be expanded. He added that Indonesian nitrile gloves have high quality and competitiveness. The merchant, Andrei Edrev, who imports furniture from Indonesia, confirmed the same for Indonesian furniture.
Samples of Indonesian instant noodles and coffee impressed the Bulgarian businessmen participating in the event.
The event was also attended by Mr. Vibiadhi, Vice President of Debindo (organizer of TEI 2020), who gave a comprehensive virtual presentation related to TEI 2020, Irma Kaplani, Honorary Consul of Indonesia for Albania, Indonesian pharmaceutical companies, including Kimia Farma, and Bulgarian businessmen who took the first steps in establishing their business relations with their Indonesian partners.
