On 1 December the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania in the Republic of Bulgaria, His Excellency Mr. Anton Pakuretsu and his wife gave a reception on the occasion of the national holiday in Radisson Blu Grand Hotel Sofia.

On 23 November in Sofia Hotel Balkan, the Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Lebanese Republic in Bulgaria - Mrs. Suzan Musy, gave a reception on the occasion of the national holiday. Ambassadors, diplomats, journalists, cultural figures, friends of Lebanon and representatives of the Lebanese community in the country attended the reception.
On November 22, 1943 Lebanon declared its national independence from France. Then the National Pact was created - an agreement between the various Lebanese groups for the management of the future state. Today, Lebanon is a parliamentary republic with a political system known as confessionalism.

On the occasion of the National Day of Algeria, Her Excellency Mrs Latifa Benazza Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Algeria to Bulgaria and Her Husband Mr Abdelkader Benazza gave a reception.
On november 4, many guests, friends of Algeria and representatives of the algerian diaspora in Bulgaria gathered in “Sofia Hotel Balkan” to celebrate this occasion which coincides this year with the 61st anniversary of the outbreak of the Algerian Revolution against colonoalism (1954-1962).
Today, Algerian people are more than ever conscious of the magnitude of sacrifices rendered by their predecessors. They fully appreciate the immensity of their country’s achievements due to the efforts of their daughters and sons over more than fifty years since independence and enjoy the current political, institutional and economic stability.
The celebration of this remarkable occasion in Bulgaria is an opportunity to pay tribute to the outstanding level of Algerian Bulgarian friendship and cooperation which undergo a steady development that allows the two countries to live up to the level of their historical bilateral relations.
Some Bulgarians have directly and strongly supported Algeria during its Revolution. Some of them are still alive.
