The Bureau for Relations with the City of Vienna - COMPRESS Sofia pleased their partners and friends with a reception on 29 October in "Serdika" Sofia Hotel Balkan. The traditional Viennese evening this year was under the motto: "Vienna: Quality of Life # 12 points".

On 1 October, at the Grand Hotel Sofia, His Excellency Mr. Shin Meng-ho, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea and his wife gave a reception on the occasion of the national holiday - the Day of the founding of the nation and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries. The event was attended by many guests, friends of Korea and representatives of diplomatic missions in the country.
From 1948 onwards, the Koreans celebrate their national holiday on October 3 – a date connected to the first Korean state – the Ancient Gojoseon founded back in 2333 BC.

On July 24, in Sofia Hotel Balkan, Her Excellency Ms Manal Yehia El Shinnawi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt, hosted a reception dedicated on the national holiday of her country. Among the many guests were ambassadors accredited in Bulgaria, diplomats, journalists and friends of Egypt.
