On October 4th, H. E. Mrs. Pooja Kapur, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Bulgaria, hosted a reception on the occasion of the Day of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme (ITEC).

The event took place at the Ambassador’s residence in Boyana and was attended by Bulgarians of various public spheres, who had participated in the courses offered by the Programme over the last years, as well as by journalists and friends of India.

As the hostess of the event, H. E. Mrs. Pooja Kapur created an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness in which the invitees shared their sincere impressions of their stay in India and the positive results of the ITEC courses. The event was marked with great camaraderie and admiration for India.

ITEC is a bilateral programme which has been fully funded by the Indian government since 1964. It enables representatives from over 160 countries to get acquainted with India’s experience in terms of technical and economic development, and many Bulgarians have joined it.
