On the 9th of November, the H. E. Mr. Vladimir Curgus, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Bulgaria and Lieutenant Colonel Zdravko Peric,

a defense attaché, organized a solemn ceremony with an embassy reception on the occasion of the Remembrance Day and 100 Years Since the End of World War I. The event was attended by ambassadors and official representatives, military attachés, journalists and cultural figures, friends of Serbia and Serbs, living in Sofia.

The guests first attended a commemorative ceremony at the Serbian Military Cemetery in Sofia where they laid wreaths and flowers at the Monument for the Serbian heroes who died in 1912-1918.

Later was the reception in the embassy. The "St. John Chrysostom" choir, from the town of  Pirot, performed patriotic songs and chants.
