On September 20, H. E. Mr. Anatol Cebuk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to the Republic of Bulgaria,

hosted a reception at the Marinela Sofia Hotel on the occasion of the country's national holiday. Independence Day is associated with the date August 27, 1991, when the Moldovan Parliament adopted the Declaration of Independence from the USSR. Officials, ambassadors, diplomats, representatives of the Moldovan diaspora in our country and friends honored the event with their presence.

In his greeting to the guests, the ambassador emphasized the importance of that day for the Moldovan people, who have been building a free and independent state for 31 years now. He also emphasized the fact that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Bulgaria and stated that throughout this time Bulgaria has supported Moldova on its path to joining the European Union.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Bulgaria, a photo exhibition reflecting the main bilateral events was arranged in the hall. The exhibition was prepared with the support of the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency, Moldpres and the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova in our country.

After viewing the exhibition, all the guests at the reception enjoyed vivid conversations, the wonderful Moldovan wines and the traditional specialties of the country.

The event was realized with the support of the honorary consul of the Republic of Moldova in Plovdiv - Mr. Veselin Chipev.
