On the 15th of February, H. E. Assoc. Prof. Željko Jović, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Bulgaria,
gave a reception at the embassy on the occasion of the national holiday of the country. The Statehood Day - February 15th, was honored by numerous guests: officials and ambassadors, journalists and cultural figures, friends of Serbia and Serbs living in Bulgaria.
The guests first heard the hymns of both countries, H. E. Assoc. Prof. Željko Jović welcomed everyone.
And then, in an extremely warm and hearty atmosphere, the attendees indulged in lively conversations on current topics. They also tried the specialties of the famous Serbian cuisine, as well as drinks from the neighboring country. Representatives of tourist organizations from Leskovac, Babušnica, Pirot and Dimitrovgrad were also present at the reception, who presented products characteristic of their municipalities, primarily food and drinks.
