On the occasion of the National Day of Romania, theExtraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the country in Bulgaria, Hon. Mr. Anton Pakuretsu and his wife gave a sherry party on the 27th of November 2014, at the Radisson Blue Grand Hotel in Sofia.

Among the guests who came to honour the Day of Unification - December 1st, were ambassadors, diplomats, politicians and people connected with the Romanian culture. The reception was organized with the support of the Bilateral Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria-Romania.

Romanians celebrate their national holiday on the 1st of December, because that is the date on which the 1918s Transylvania is separated from Austro-Hungary and united with Romania- a unitary state.
