On 11 August in Sofia Hotel Balkan, H. E. Ms Manal Yehia El Shinnawi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Bulgaria, hosted a reception on the occasion of the national holiday of her country.

Its official date is July 23 – the Day of the Revolution of 1952. On that day 64 years ago, the July revolution led by Gamal Abdel Nasser started. In her address to the guests H. E. Ms Manal Yehia El Shinnawi emphasized the historical significance of the event and made a brief assessment of the interactions and cooperation between our two countries.

The reception was attended by ambassadors, diplomats, politicians, senior state administration, journalists, friends of Egypt. They all had the pleasure to enjoy the Egyptian hospitality and the wonderful traditional dishes of the country.
