On 28 November, H. E. Ms. Pooja Kapur, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India in Bulgaria, gave a reception at her residence in Boyana on the occasion of the Technical and Economic Cooperation Program of India (ITEC) Day.

Among her guests were Bulgarians from different public and private sectors who, in the recent years, attended the program, as well as friends of India and journalists.

Some of the ITEC participants shared their experience with India. They spoke about the knowledge they acquired thanks to the Program, the contacts they created and the opportunity to come so close and be part of the Indian culture, something they will remember for a lifetime.

India's technical and economic cooperation program, which is fully sponsored by the Indian government where more than 160 partnering countries were invited, was officially introduced on September 15, 1964. The date was designated as the ITEC Day and all Indian missions in the partnering countries, among which Bulgaria, give a reception on this occasion at a chosen time during the year.
