On the 10th of November, the H. E. Mr. Vladimir Curgus, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Bulgaria and Lieutenant Colonel Zdravko Peric, a defense attaché, organized a ceremony with an embassy reception on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance.
Ambassadors, officials, journalists and many Serbs living in Sofia attended. The "St. John Chrysostom" choir, from the town of Pirot, performed patriotic songs and chants.
Before that the guests also attended a commemorative ceremony at the Serbian Military Cemetery in Sofia. The ambassador and the attendants that respected the event laid wreaths and flowers at the Monument for the Serbian heroes who died in 1912-1918.
