A concert on the Day of Romanian Culture took place at the Romanian Embassy in Sofia on the 24th of January. H. E. Mr. Ion Gâlea, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Bulgaria, and his wife Mrs. Raluca Țigău,
invited ambassadors and diplomats, cultural figures and friends of the country to enjoy the wonderful music and dance performances of the students of the Faculty of Music of the Transylvania University in Brasov.
The Day of Romanian Culture is celebrated by Romanians every year on the 15th of January, the date on which their national poet Mihai Eminescu was born in 1850.
At the event, the guests had the opportunity to see an exhibition of paintings, arranged in the hall, by Romanian artists from the collection of the Romanian Cultural Center - Vidin.
The evening ended with a cocktail, where everyone enjoyed Romanian wines and delicacies.
