The third edition of the project was held from the 26th of March to the 6th of May in the Metro and on the "National Palace of Culture" metro station, in Sofia.

During this period, poems of European poets could be heard- something that made our day more cheerful and better.

The official opening of "Poetry in the Metro 2018" took place on the 10th of April, when the project was presented by Prof. Amelia Licheva, poetess, literary writer, editor-in-chief of the "Literary Journal" and Mr. Jaroslaw Godun, Director of the Polish Institute. This year's edition featured poems from 12 member states of EUNIC Cluster Bulgaria and from Associated Institutions, as well as,one Bulgarian poem. The selected works were from Austria, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Spain, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Hungary, Finland and the Czech Republic.

The organizers of the "Poetry in the Metro 2018" project were: The Polish Institute in Sofia, together with "Literary Journal" and EUNIC Cluster Bulgaria in partnership with Sofia Municipality.
