The Embassy of the State of Palestine and the Union of Philatelists in Bulgaria, with the kind cooperation of the Bulgarian Post, presented the philatelic exhibition Palestine in the Eyes of the World.

It was opened on the 21st of November, in the lobby of the Central Post Office in Sofia in the presence of H. E. Dr. Ahmed Al Madbuh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Bulgaria, a number of officials and ambassadors.

The posters on display, based on the rich collection of stamps of Mr. Ahmad Alhattab, reveal interesting moments of the Palestinian history and culture. They provoked the interest of the numerous audience consisted of journalists, philatelists, Palestinians living in Bulgaria, and their friends. Mr. Ahmad Alhattab himself, who attended the event, was the focus of everyone's attention, something that continued during the cocktail after the opening.
