Dear Friends,
Dear Partners
With this letter I would like to inform you that as of 31st of August 2020 my almost five-year term in Bulgaria comes to an end. Because of the relentless coronavirus pandemic, I will not have the pleasure of saying goodbye to everyone in person, but I would like to take this opportunity to say what I would say in parting with you.
First of all, I would like to thank all of the partners: for the friendship, for the pleasure of communication, for the joint work and for the successful implementation of joint projects on various festive and non-festive occasions. I will cherish the memories of the moments spent with you during fruitful conversations in a hospitable place, of the joy and the success of our past projects and the difficulties we managed to overcome together.
Thank you to the team of the Polish Institute, with which we celebrated the 70th anniversary of the institute. We managed to implement over 150 projects in our jubilee year of 2019, and during these five years - over 1000. It can be seen from the history of this respected institution in Bulgaria, the directors change, but some things stay the same - the institute continues to accomplish its goals, promotes the achievements of Poland and wins over its allies.
The years spent in Bulgaria will undoubtedly leave their mark on me. I will remember it as a warm, cordial and friendly to foreigners country. I will certainly use every opportunity to return here, visit my friends and see the country's progress in all areas.
I wish everyone the most important thing now and for the future – good health.
With best wishes,
Jarosław Godun
