From the 27th of January to the 7th of February, a high-quality range of carefully selected films, documentaries and short films and media art were presented in the IFFR.
It is directed by Deniz Gamze Ergyuven and is a co-production of France, Germany, Turkey and Qatar.

An Orthodox spiritual centre since 1054, Mount Athos has enjoyed an autonomous statute since Byzantine times. The 'Holy Mountain', which is forbidden to women and children, is also a recognized artistic site.
