On the 7th of December at the Central Military Club in Sofia and on the 8th in the Balabanov House in Plovdiv were held concerts of  ensemble Cellomania with which the end of the presidency of the Slovak Republic to the EU Council was marked in our country.

There H. E. Mr. Marián Jakubόcy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovakia, invited ambassadors, MPs, ministers, prominent public and cultural figures. All enjoyed the wonderful performances of the virtuosos: Jozef Podhoranský, Eugen Prochác and Ján Slávik.

Ensemble Cellomania was created in 2000 by Eugen Prochác. Its members are prominent Slovak cellists: Jozef Lupták, Jozef Podhoranský, Eugen Prochác and JánSlávik. The musicians actively performed as soloists, chamber musicians, teachers and organizers of musical events. Their repertoire includes works from the Baroque period to the present day, comprising both adaptations and original compositions written for the ensemble.
