On May 16, Mr. Andrzej Mojkowski, chargé d’affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the Republic of Bulgaria,

gave a reception on the occasion of the national holiday of the country. It is celebrated on May 3, a date related to the adoption of the Polish Constitution of 1791, the first modern written constitution in Europe and the second in the world.

Ambassadors, diplomats, politicians, representatives of the Bulgarian senior administration, the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, the business, the culture, the media and the Polish community in our country gathered in the beautiful garden and halls of the embassy. Here were also officers of the Polish Border Police, who are currently performing their duties on the territory of Bulgaria. Mrs. Emilia Kraleva, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria also attended the reception.

The performance of the Polish group Gentle Jazz Trio and the wonderful catering with traditional Polish specialties and beverages contributed to the festive atmosphere of the event.
