On July 3, H. E. Ms. Sayanaa Lkhagvasuren, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Bulgaria,

hosted a reception in the beautiful garden of the embassy on the occasion of Naadam. The country's national holiday, which Mongolians celebrate on July 11, was honored by numerous guests - officials, deputies, ambassadors, diplomats, Mongolians living in our country and friends. The new Bulgarian Patriarch was also present.

When welcoming him, Her Excellency congratulated him on his election and enthronement. His Holiness the Bulgarian Patriarch and Metropolitan of Sofia Daniil thanked her, highlighted the good relations between Bulgaria and Mongolia and expressed his desire for more joint initiatives between the diplomatic service and the Bulgarian Orthodox Church.

The reception began with the playing of the anthems of the two countries, after which H. E. Ms. Sayanaa Lkhagvasuren addressed her guests with a welcoming speech.

Then, the attendees had the opportunity to touch the spirit of Mongolia. In the yurt in the garden, they could take pictures with rare objects from Mongolian life and play chess. On the improvised stage, Mongolian musicians impressed the guests with their virtuoso performances of rare instruments. Everyone also enjoyed the wonderful Mongolian wines and specialties.
