The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Hungary in Bulgaria - H.E. Ms. Tekla Harangozó gave a gala reception at the embassy on the occasion of the national holiday of the country - 23 October.
The date is linked to the Hungarian Revolution and the struggle for freedom in 1956. On it, 60 years ago, the Hungarian nation rose in struggle against the dictatorship and for a change of the system. The zeal for freedom was so strong that led to a revolution, which lasted only two weeks but changed Europe and the shook the world. It was suppressed, but its effects are of great importance to the modern European history.
Not surprisingly, the reception on October 20 on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Hungarian revolution and the fight for freedom in 1956 brought together so many guests - ambassadors, public and cultural figures, friends of the Hungarian people.
